This happened to me once , it turned out to be a broken wishbone but it could be a broken coil spring. It won't be really expensive but don't go to the main dealer as they're more expensive. Hope this helps.

I used to rebuild alternators, you'd be better off pumping some wheel bearing grease in there as that shaft turns some pretty high rpms. drip lube will just burn up quickly but eventually it will crap out on you, alt's are just cheaply made. Call around the ghetto in your area, they will do it cheap for cash

most likely cause will be the coil spring, becoming quite a common fault on most new cars (doesn't help the amount of speed humps that are appearing). also the cold weather doesn't help either. expect to pay around £20 to £30 for the spring and around an hours labour (£30-£45 for independant garages or £70-£90 for main dealers).hope this helps

it sounds like it could be a broken coil spring, this is a common problem with the ka it is not over expensive to repair or as the other guy said it could also be a wishbone, these are found near the middle of the wheel,at the back of the hub it would cost a bout £30-£40 for the wishbone and about 1-2 hours labour don,t go to main dealer (to expensive) try a small garage hope this helps

You need to replace the fan blower switch.
The trip odometer may have short or the bulb is coming loose in the cluster.
