In addition, the trip odometer light randomly goes out every few days. Are these problems related? Maybe a short?

It has slipped twice while driving under 30 mph. Fluid is full.

I had a wreck yesterday, and was told by the wrecker driver that it snapped the front suspension. The left front fender was also damaged. I have collision ins. but I’m afraid it will cost more than my car is worth to fix it. The guy that hit me didn’t have ins. and left after finding out That we were all not seriously hurt.

My car’s brake make noise when ever I start running it. The noise increases on increasing speed. Where can I find cheapest deal in San Diego? I am a student.

The guy started me out at $900 and I talked him down to $450. He said the pump part cost was $250 and the rest was labor and shop materials.

500 to 600 depending on if it needs the flywheel turned or replaced.

The ABS light on my truck will not go out would like to know what the book says about troubleshooting it. Took it to the Parts store and test light comes up with nothing.

My Ford Focus shakes bad when I start it then it dies. My neighbor thinks that it may be the timing belt because of the noises that it makes. I am trying to find out what it may cause to repair it, if it is the timing belt, or if anyone has had this problem before. Last week I hit 100,000 miles on this car. Thanks for any help.

Because your car is 8 years old the auto wreckers and scrap yards would have used ones available for $30-$40.00. The Ford Dealer would charge you the shop rate which would be too expensive and wants to use new parts. If you are handy and have tools it is fixable by the backyard mechanic.A do it yourselfer looking for extra money would probably charge $100.00. and it really isn’t necessary to hire a licenced mechanic for this job and you will not have to pay out an extra $300.00 or more
