Ford is essentially the top of the heap when it comes to trucks. The most popular full size pickup in North The United States is the F150, and for good reason. Ford has made other pickup trucks, too of course. Some of those other models have sold fairly well. The Ford Ranger was quite popular for some time. Nevertheless, the Ranger is being retired after 2011. The only other pickup offered by Ford, the Sport Trac, is ceasing production this year. Only the F series is going to stay within the Ford truck line, as the automaker is cleaning up house. Ford has been retiring models and brands not popular enough to keep. As outlined by the Courier-Journal, the Sport Trac is done as of October 2010. Ford is shutting down the line, as it is just not selling. As a result of lack of more than a small following, the model just isn’t justified to keep producing. Initially offered in 2000, sales held steady for several years at around 60,000, however afterward steadily declined afterward. This year, less than 6,000 are sold. Trucks smaller than full size are down as a total market segment, making up only two percent of sales for the entire auto industry. DOC…has it right. WD-40 with a jet tube in the nozzle, spray the shaft near the seals. This will flood the area, wash out the loose dirt, and help the dust seal a bit. There is also an inner seal that retains the oil in the shock. If this seal is deteriorated, there will be a lot of oil already present. The shock at this point is as good as it is going to get.

I am a plumbing contractor not a mechanic, although since buying my truck, I’m having to learn!! I am now stuck in the mountains and need to get home to my family. There’s like 2 or 3 rust spots and i need a new paint job on the whole body?

after i take the other one off,the longer one has two ball joints and 1 sleeve to reconnect what is the recommended procedure?

Both of my doors, especially the passenger door is sagging really bad. The passenger side is sagging so bad that it won’t latch until I lift it really hard before closing it.

I’d like to find a site or get some help. i’d like to change the rotors and pads myself on my ford 1992 f150 but the manual lockouts for the fourwheel drive are in the way and I dont want to mess them up. HELP Please
