Mechanics Hate Us

I was told the parts would cost around 100.00 for both sides. Does that sound about right? This is an independently owned repair shop.

1992 Taurus with a 3.0 Liter V6, It hesitates mostly when cold. I have no trouble codes.

My dumba$$ son decided to take my car for a joyride this morning. He managed to drive into a ditch, kill a mailbox, break the front cover, and bust the radiator (at least that much, probably more). What is an average price range for this type of repair. We live south of Little Rock, AR.

I hear a sound coming from the back. When I’m going like 10-15mph it sounds like the back tires are going to fall right off. Then when I hit a bump I hear a clanking noise coming from the back. I was at a garage and they told me it was the barring and that it was $70.00 plus labor. Is it something I could have a family member due for me or am I better off having a more experienced person work on it.

Not able to get to a library, nor the local parts store, and need to be able to look some things up, since my car isn’t currently working. Not especially interested in pay-to-download sites either… trying to save money in the first place by doing it myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can get a free brake inspection from two places. I know I need something done, because they are squeeking. I think it maybe the front wheels.

i have a 1994 ford taurus and i was told that the repair cost for replacing an oil pan gasket is 460.00 for parts and labor. they said they have to remove the exhaust,the starter,etc. is this true?? please help!
